My name is Vin and I am a Japanese cardist who has been part of this community for over 10 years.
In 2019 and 2020, I designed and released two versions of Prototype Playing Cards.
Due to the pandemic, I had to cancel the project I was planning to launch in both 2021 and 2022. It must have been a rough time for everyone who loves playing cards.
Now that the pandemic is over, and after three long years, I am thrilled to announce the return of Prototype Playing Cards, in Tricolor Edition!
DESIGN
Just like the previous two versions, the linear pattern is designed to enhance every kind of motion when performing cardistry.
You can see that this tricolor design adds even more impact on cardistry moves, creating an optical illusion like a connected rainbow.
The effect is also significant in packet cuts, with the presence of the back design complementing the lack of exposure compared to moves like spreads.
Here is an interesting gimmick you can play around with Prototype Playing Cards V3. By projecting colored lights, the deck will show multiple unique appearances which enrich your experience with the deck.
For the first time, Prototype Playing Cards incorporated fully customized suits. The four Aces and the Jokers highlight the CMYK theme in the design of the front and the back.
